We help you explore more exotic venues for being physically active, venues you may never have considered. We tap into your fitness fantasies, the high adventures you always wanted to go on.
Perhaps, the best metaphor for how Adventure Further works can be taken from the movie The Bucket List. Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman may set out to do all the adventurous things they want to do before they “kick the bucket.” But who sets it all up for them? Hovering in the background and attending to their every need is Thomas, Nicholson’s wry assistant. Thomas is a kind of attendant spirit or genie, and Nicholson’s idiosyncratic wishes are his command.
Adventure Further is like having your own personal genie. We sit down with you and help you craft your own “bucket list”, if you will. We then build a trip around your dream adventure. We take care of all the logistics. We scout out the best locations, the best guides, the best transportation, the best accommodations and dining experiences, well in advance. We also go shopping with you to select the best equipment, gear, and apparel. And like Thomas, we accompany you on the trip— hovering in the background, assuring that all goes well.
But we also go one step further. Trekking through Tibet is an excellent adventure, but one that demands conditioning and endurance. So, we customize a training program to specifically prepare you for your trip— whether it’s hiking the Himalayas or sailing the Mediterranean. Your time inside the gym will no longer be humdrum; rather every exercise, every movement, will have a renewed sense of purpose as we coach and condition you toward your adventure. We also take you outside the gym for local “dry runs.” After all, why waste your trip learning the basics, when you can arrive ready to revel fully in your dream. Finally, we provide you with lifestyle coaching.
