My GYM PREP workshop will teach you to train alongside all "the big boys" and make you feel like you belong there too!
In Day 1 of the workshop you will learn how to use a squat rack, why you should use it even though you are not lifting 300 lbs., and when it’s appropriate or not, to “work in” with someone already using it.
You'll bench press, learn that you can actually “spot” someone safely and discover that this great, full body exercise is appropriate for everyone, not just powerlifters.
Want to know what all the hype is over Deadlifting? It’s my absolute favorite exercise that keeps my back strong, my glutes tight and helps my waistline from spilling over my jeans. I will show you that it's not as scary as it sounds or as intimidating as it looks.
Or maybe you don't even know what deadlifting is. That's ok, I'll teach you. Once you learn it and know how to set it up for yourself, you'll wonder why you didn't try it sooner.
In Day 2 of the workshop, we'll practice everything you learned and go over any questions you may have. And we'll discuss how it translates into an actual training program that you can take to the free weight section of any gym, and get an awesome workout without ever having to step foot on the treadmill again.
By the end of Day 2, you will learn enough gym etiquette and lingo to confidently call out to the meat head who left 500 lbs on the squat rack, “Excuse me, I noticed you're done with your set. Do you need me to help you unrack the bar?”
